• Hey, I’ve searched high and low for a shopping cart plugin that offers CCBill as a payment gateway. Sofar I’ve only found S2Member, which I hesitate to purchase because it is first and foremost a plugin for membership driven sites, and my site is just selling adult oriented products, I have no need to offer memberships.

Anyone out there with any WP/CCBill experience want to point me in the right direction? Much appreciated.

    Hi MaryKate,
I run few sites, all integrated with CCBill. I have tried S2Member at first, however at that time, they did not integrate with CCBill and got nowhere by asking the support. Then I have used Magic Members plugin, that was the worst experience in my life and my company lost thousands of dollars in revenue due to members canceling and not being able to sign up. I wrote a full review of Magic Members plugin on my site, if you’re interested to know the whole story. I do understand, that you have no need to maintain memberships, only sell products. I’m not really sure, but if you are not selling memberships, you should be able to get away with PayPal or similar processors. Not necessarily hi-risk processor, like CCBill. If that’s not the case and you’d still have to use CCBill or such, look into AMember. I have been using AMember for over a year now and I’m very happy. It’s not actually a plugin, it’s a script 100% integrated with WP and it works flawlessly. What ever you do, do not use Magic Members. They’re horrible and in my opinion it’s a huge scam.
I have also wrote an article about WordPress and CCBill.

    Hope that helps,

    Matt
