    Deactivating the plug gets the site back. Tried to go through the FAQ page but did not find a recipe for a solution that could be followed to fix this.

    Take a look at your PHP error log as that will tell you where the error is.

    I removed WP Super Cache and installed Quick Cache and I do not get the error, so this solved the problem for me.

    Removing Wp Super Cache via the delete command on the Admin page of my site caused the fist line of my wp-config file to be replaced and corrupted my site. I had to restore the <?php tag in the first line of my config file to restore my site.

    Donncha:
    The following line replaced the first line of my config file when I deleted the plugin:

    //define('WP_CACHE', true);

    I deactivated it and the site was running fine. I then clicked delete and the site immediately returned an error page. I fixed the line and the site runs fine. I was able to reproduce the white page errors.
