Category.php not working – showing index.php

    I have a WP blog at http://www.theipadfan.com/.

    I have a problem with the categories view. When going to a certain category site (e.g. http://www.theipadfan.com/category/ipad-accessories/) my blog used to show only posts of this category – as expected.

    But now it is showing all the posts from the frontpage. In fact, it is using index.php and not category.php like it should.

    I already disabled all plugins (really all of them) and tried to switch to another theme. Did not help. So the theme or the plugins are not the problem. Also tried to switch back to the default htaccess, which did not help either.

    Any hints on what could be causing this?
