category-x.php and permalinks (1 post)

    Hello,

I am using version 1.5. I have just found by reading through the support forums that you can provide category-x.php files for each category where x is the category id to display different pages.

However, this does not work if you change your permalinks configuration to get nicer links for the categories. In my example, I have a category called STAGE Scenario that is a children of the STAGE category. My category link on my main page looks like this:

    http://intranet/wordpress/index.php/category/stage/stage-scenario/

When I click on this link, I get a message saying:
    No input file specified.

I have tried renaming the file to category-stage-scenario.php, stage-scenario.php, category-stage-stage-scenario.php (parent and children categories), but have had no success yet.

Is the category template feature compatible with permalinks. If so, what is the correct syntax for the files?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
