Category Widget Problem

    I’ve got my blog up and running on my own server, but now I’ve got a widget problem. I put a category widget up with parent and child categories. The parent and child categories aren’t formatting so that the child sits under the parent category. I put the category widget in manually with coding to sidebar.php, and it works fine. However, It isn’t even letting me edit the widget. I can’t even delete it! What are my options. Drivin’ me crazy. With 2.3 we could just drag and drop, so easy. With this we are just bugged.
