    WordPress 3.8 wp-ecommerce version 3.8.12.1 (free version)

On my products page it displays all of the parts we offer in numeric order by part number. We have the categories arranged according to the table of contents in our owners manual on the side bar along with the shopping cart widget.

When we click on a category in the sidebar the page changes and only shows a compact display of the part description at the top of the page. No photo, no add to cart button, no qty display – nothing.

We recently upgraded from an old previous version and it worked under that version. Please advise.

    Settings > Store > Display:

Button Type – Add to Cart
Hide “add to cart” = no
Product settings all set to no except Add Quantity Field
    Product Page Settings:
    Default view (obviously)
    Showing all products
    Breadcrumbs = no
product groups/product display = product groups only
show subcat products in parent = no
    Replace page title = yes
    display featured product above= no
    Shopping Cart Settings:
    Cart location = widget
    Display + postage&tax = yes
    Product Category settings:
    Show Category Description = no
    Show Category Thumbnails = no
    Show product count/category = yes
    Category grid view = no

Have you tried rolling back to the previous version? If you were using a version prior to 3.8 the theme system changed in order to be compatible with wordpress standards going forward.

Hi devriesb. Edward is correct. Unfortunately as WP coding standards change so must WPEC which means you may have to cut some CSS / update your website.
