   I have search for this problem but I'm having trouble understanding how to fix it
   I have this site: http://www.ccccreative.co.uk/brandtectonics/

   I want the Market Access Alerts page to show only posts with the category Market Access Alerts (there are two posts - currently at the bottom of the home page)

   How do I do this please?

   The pages article has a page of posts example that could help.

   Or one of these:
   # http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/list-category-posts/ (uses shortcode)
   # http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-posts-list/ (uses shortcode}
   # http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nurelm-get-posts/ (uses shortcode)
