   Hi

   I've noticed that after editing several times the categories (I go to categories page in admin panel, click on all of them (open one window to edit each category - at the same time), and then save them.

   What occurs? some categories change their IDs, and others that were saved later will get a parent_id = 0 .

   The problem here is NOT because I opened several windows to edit multiple categories.

   I think terms (which includes TAGS and Categories) should not have their Ids changed.

   This thing if bugging some plugins that store the category ID of a post to something.

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.
