   Hi There,

   Im currently rebuilding a website with wordpress, Now ive got lots of different categories in the site with different templates so ill be using http://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates this process to do so.

   My question is i have a Category called "Stockists" but under that category i have about 20 other sub categories. but all these categories will use the same template

   Is there a way of using these category templates for a parent category rather me having to have to create a whole lot of category-#.php files

   any help would be much appreciated :)

   You can use is_category array with if elseif else in your category.php.
