    Hi,

I did un upgrade to 2.6....everything seem to work find with the exception of of a couple of things..which I think I can fix.

My biggest issue is that I only had 1 Category I was posting all my post to which was called: "Iraqs Inconvenient Truth". I have since been able to 'add' a category call this, but I have just made two post to it.

In my 'Admin' area...I show A category which has a no name...but shows my 1800+ post still there.

How do I make it so I can this category back to its orginal name "Iraqs Inconvenient Truth".

Because in the admin area...it only seems to allow you to 'add' categories...not edit or anything else.

All my post...come up with a 404 code...because the this.

Thanks for your reply's in advance.

**Note this is a pro - Military, pro - center to right wing blog...so if your going to be offend or have very hard core left-wing views...it might be best if you do not respond to this post...I am not looking for a debate about the content of this WP blog...I just need some help correcting my problem.

    Peace!
    Dan

What happens when you try to edit the category?

manage -> categories -> then just click on a category to edit it.

    Hi Dagon Design,

    Thanks for your reply....

Here is a "screen shot" of the admin area: manage -> categories ->

There is no box to click on to edit....(where the 1800+ post show. And the only thing it seems I can do there...is "ADD" or "Delete" categorys...not edit the names.

Any ideas...would be very helpful from you or anyone.

Correct - there is no edit button. To edit, you just click on the category name you want to edit, and it pulls up the edit page. Did you try that?

    Hi,

Problem is that if you look at the "screen shot"...there is no category listed or a blank box to 'check'. Just on the right...under "post" it list the 1800+ post...

Thanks for the reply's...still need to resolve.

Oh I see what you are talking about - I didn't notice the blank one at first.

Can you find out the category ID for that cat? If so, you can enter the URL directly:

    /wp-admin/categories.php?action=edit&cat_ID=123

Where 123 is the cat ID
