not to sure this is actually a problem or just the way it should be.
I have just installed wordpress on my own server. When posting my first post I hve created the categories I would link to associate my post with from the right-side many in Post editing. It takes it an all is good. But when I edit the post the categories are no longer there. And this is not the main problem.
On my dashboard under categories I can see on the left side stated that exist "3 items", the categories I created. But their are not listed... If I create more categories they will be counted but not listed...
If I create categories via the new post they are considered "uncategorized", and in the end the widgets will not work as they find no categories...
IS this happening to you? Will this be any permissions issue on any forlder of file?
