category post re-count

    I just used the import from wordpress csv function to import a lot of posts into categories.

    The posts are there, into the right categories, but the post count for each category is still 0 in the sidebar.

    Does exists a tool/plugin to recalculate wp_term_taxonomy count for each category? Or whatever the column is that holds that count?

    If you edit a category does it fix the post count?

    If not, if you edit a post does it fix that category count?

    First thanks for answering.

    I don’t know what appened, but I’ve restored the db, regenerated the CSVs to import and now the counts display properly. Maybe I forgot to stripslash some fields and it caused some trouble.
