   Does anyone know if it is possible to re-create your categories\URL paths when you switch from WordPress.com to WordPress.org?

   I am now running my site on BlueHost with WordPress.org installed. When I upload my posts from WordPress.com, it keeps the date and the "categories" and "tags", but it assigns them all to a number, such as ?p=40.

   This is sort of annoying, I wish I knew how to make WordPress see my categories and tags and re-create the directories for them. Is this possible at all? I have a lot of pages in Google and other search engines that people aren't going to find now.

   While logged into your blog, you might want to check out Options -> Permalinks

   See Using_Permalinks in the documentation for more information.
