   How can I create pages for each category and show all posts for that category on the page while only allowing one post on the front page?

   You don't need to create a page for each category as WordPress will do that automatically...just use the Category Widget to present category links and then your visitors will have access to those archives.

   Unfortunately, when you the category, it limits the number of posts to the same number on the front page. If you ell it ti show 1, the category page only shows 1. I want 1 on the front page, but all on the category page. Thanks.
