Category Page Sorting Links (7 posts)

I'm trying to create links at the top of my category that sort the page based on date, type, title, etc. You can see an example here: http://www.loudwaterlabs.com/rise/index.php/category/featured/.

How can I do this? Are there any queries I can add to a url to make the category page sort differently, such as http://.../category/featured?sort=title? Or, would I have to create a custom query, and if so how would I link to that?

    Thanks!

Check it out and "trial and error"... which one is the plugin that does it :)

Moshu, I don't understand what you mean. I'm really not sure how to go about doing this, although I know enough PHP now to implement most features with some direction.

    Did you click?
You can see 6 plugins. Obviously, Akismet, print, email are out of question.
Now you just have to search for the remaining 3... find them (google), download, install and try.

If that feature you like is plugin related - one should reproduce the same results :)
    What is so complicated?

Ah I see the problem. The site you linked to is the one I want that feature to work on, it currently only has links. The links do nothing. Have you seen this feature implemented on any sites? I'm just not experienced enough to figure out how to do it.

You said in your original post - that's an "example".
I thought that's a WORKING example on another site. Sorry. Misunderstanding...

Sorry for the confusion moshu. Any idea how it could be done? Someone must have done this at some point. Maybe I will have to create a function.
