   I am trying to reorder the categories as they appear on my archive page. I installed the category_order plugin and re-ordered them as I wanted. The new order is reflected when I got to the category page in the admin panel. However the archive page, which displays to visitors, still maintains the improperly ordered listing.

   Specifically I want the categories of Bible books to be in canonical form, not alpha.

   I am using WP3.0 and Thesis 1.7 as my theme.

   Fixed. Apparently the order is not immediately picked up by the theme. Anyway, it is working now.
