   Hi

   I am just learning the ropes with wordpress and I have a problem with the permalink address for a category page. The page I have a problem with is
   http://www.thegasfitter.co.uk/central-heating-services-2

   I only have one page called central heating services yet I have the number 2 at the end. How do I get rid of it, if I can at all??

   Try editing the category slug in Admin/Post/Categories.

   Hi Esmi

   Thanks for replying.

   In Admin/Post/Categories there is only category and that is uncategorised.
   I think I created a page called Central Heating Services then for whatever reason I deleted it (once it was published).

   I then created it again which then led to the problem of having the 2 after the cat name . . .

   Sorry - I meant edit the Permalink in Admin/Pages/Edit Page.

   No luck.

   It does allow me to change it but when I update the page it reverts back to the cat inc number . . .
