    Hi,
It took me a while to figure it out, but it looks like empty categories (with no articles in them) in a custom menu will not show if you are not logged in, but will show if you are (at least in a multisite environment).
This is rather misleading. Is there an option to alter this behaviour?

Is that with the Categories Widget? If custom template code, can you provide the arguments?

It was a custom menu where I manually inserted the categories. No custom code was involved (just standard wp_nav_menu() ).

This is fixed in the updated Role Scoper development code (1.3.35-dev).

I found that empty categories were being hidden from the Nav Menu for both anonymous readers and logged non-Administrators. However, categories with non-empty subcategories were not hidden.

    Great, many thanks.
Yes, this is the behavior I was observing, although I had not noticed the distinction between admin / non admin (I was using my admin account when I noticed the issue).

    Thanks again!
