Is there any way to move the category list back to somewhere next to the main part of the writing panel (i.e. where it was in previous versions)? My users are not the most technologically savvy people, and were much more likely to remember to set a category or two when they didn't have to scroll down to do it!

There was a simple mod posted here in the forum not long ago but I can't find it right now. You can find it over at weblogtoolscollection though.
Is anybody doing a plugin that will accomplish this same thing? I hate replacing wp-admin files if I can avoid it.
that's seriously one of the more unfriendly adjustments to the interface... that little excuse for a sidebar in there, really could use more tools on it.
