• Okay so I am having trouble with the links at the top of pages/posts that state what category it was posted in, if you take a look here http://knivesanime.com/ you’ll see “Welcome” at the top above the post, however if you see the link it says “http://knivesanime.comcategory/welcome/” I don’t know why, but it’s missing a forward slash. I’d like to fix this if anyone could give me some assistance.

Also, I am attempting to do something like Next/Previous buttons that will automatically detect what the next page is, I’m pretty sure this has been asked about before, but I just want to clarify. I’d like my sub-pages to be able to be navigated through with Previous/Next buttons above or below the content in each page. I’m getting the idea that this will only work with posts though, and not pages. Still I’d like to clarify, so any comments will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Set your Permalink structure back to default and see what happens.

It works, it also works if I put /%postname% as the custom structure, but if I do that then I get a faulty comments link, same problem as the category link.

So at the default permalink structure your comment links don’t work.

I’d consider deleting/renaming your .htaccess and reset your peramlinks to default to see if that solves your comment link problem. Also make sure you have the correct values in WordPress and Blog address fields in Settings->General with no trailing /.

    Note:
    See Template_Tags/wp_link_pages for linking pages.

None of those suggestions worked, didn’t make a difference.

Whenever I input any of those Next/Previous button codes onto the Main Index Page nothing shows up, yes I’m fairly certain I’m entering them in the right place.
