   Hi,

   I am successfully using the category icons pluggin and widget, and managed to get my icon to display with the category title in the subtitle section of each post, and not with the actual post title itself by modifying the placement of the code.

   However, I want to display the icons with the titles in the "Recent Posts" widget. So the category associated with each post will have a corresponding icon next to the title. I know I need to edit my sidebar.php but just don't have the coding skills to know what code and where to place it, and my trial and error is going nowhere.

   Thanks for reply Sub. I couldn't figure out what to do with that link, since I don't really want to add a new pluggin. I did figure out a work-around, albeit a messy one. I just used a text widget and copied the source data from the the post title with the icon attached. It looks exactly as I want it to, but obviously requires a manual adjustment with each new post. Looks great though. Check it out:

   I'll leave unresolved for now in case anyone does know how to insert the code into the sidebar.php to make this happen automatically.

   Hi Greg,

   I'm working on a new version of the plugin that'll be compatible with recent posts & similar posts of Rob Marsh. You'll be able to put your category icons thanks to a new tag : {caticons}. It's finished, but I'm trying to add a new feature that is much awaited. So keep an eye on the Category Icons plugin update !
