I am trying to configure our categories list menu to only show the parent categories and not the sub-categories. Then once you click on the parent category, we want sub-categories to show as inner-list items.
Can someone help me with this? I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi Samuel. Yes, I did look at that but truth be told, I am a WP novice when it comes to language and code. I thought there might be an easy way to do it...something that a newbie like I could do. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks Esmi. I read this and looked through it but, embarrassed as I am to say it, I'm still just not sure how to use FoCal. We already have it as a plug-in but I'm trying to make it work so that the category tree is in accordion style.
If you go to our blog you will see what I mean:
Go to the category widget on the right-hand side of the page and, for example, look at the "SoLatina Bloggers" category. We want to minimize all of the child categories under it so that the only way you can access them is to click on "SoLatina Bloggers". I hope I explained myself OK.
