Category-Based Post Lists for one Blog, Listed on one Page

    I would like to create a page that shows several blog categories and underneath each category are links to posts for that particular category. The posts would all come from the same blog, but would just be organized under different category subheadings on ONE page. I’m not looking for something in a widget or sidebar menu, but a solution that can actually live on the page. I would only want the 5 latest posts under each category, and it could just be the post title as a link to the full post. Basically something that looks kind of like this: http://www.thewooden-spoon.com/recipes.html

    Is this possible with code in WP or with a plugin?

    Here is a template to List Links to Posts by Category.

    It was written for the WP 2.9.2 Default theme, so it will need to be adapted to your theme.

    Thank you! A couple of questions — can I put this code directly on the page where I want the categories to appear (I’m guessing no). If not, what are my options. The only place I see to include it in the design I’m currently using (Platform Pro for WordPress) is in the Custom CSS section.
