    Hello,

Thank you for a great plugin.

Is it would be possible to have a Post Category as a Parent to a Page in a Breadcrumb trail? For example I have a category page called Shoes, which lists all the shoes in that category. In the breadcrumb trail it would be Home > Shoes.

Now I have created a Page called Video which has a Video about the Shoes I have in that category. So I would like it to show as Home > Shoes > Video in the breadcrumb.

I installed http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/map-categories-to-pages, hoping that it would solve that issue for me. Unfortunately it doesn't. Is there a way to do this?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Pages are the only special type which do not allow a user set hierarchy. They will only follow the page/post parent hierarchy. The reason being is pages are used as roots for other post types and to prevent some interesting problems they must follow their parent hierarchy. If you need categories either use regular posts or create a Custom Post Type (it's really easy and from what I can tell is what you should be using).

Yes, if you want to use a plugin, Custom Post Type UI works pretty well and I'd suggest playing around with that first (you can always generate the PHP code to place in a site specific plugin later using the same plugin).
