   Hello. I'm quite new to WordPress and I am having problems with having a category as a link in my menu. Or alternative displaying a single category inside a static page. I do not use any sidebars or similar, I need the link in the menu.

   Try setting up a custom menu.

   That might work but how do display the custom menu in my menu bar? I do not want it in my footer or sidebar. There's no menu bar box in the widgets panel.
