• Supporter,

    Hope you are having a great day. Mine will be a little better with a little help from my virtual friends…

    I am using a Switchroyal template, Baughxie, http://affordablehousingsource.com/wordpress/ and would love to have the images from the individual posts display when a category is selected in the sidebar… Right now the Category delivers the sorted information and drops the images that are in the original posts.

    Thank you in advance for you time and wisdom,

  • Edit your theme’s category template file (it might be named category.php) and replace the_excerpt() with the_content().

    Templates

    * 404 Template (404.php)
    * Archives (archive.php)
    * Comments (comments.php)
    * Footer (footer.php)
    * Header (header.php)
    * Main Index Template (index.php)
    * Page Template (page.php)
    * Search Form (searchform.php)
    * Search Results (search.php)
    * Sidebar (sidebar.php)
    * Single Post (single.php)
    * Theme Functions (functions.php)

    Styles

    * Stylesheet (style.css)

    In the Search, Single Post, Main and Page is the_content() code…

    Try the replacement above in index.php.

    esmi,

    That is the code in the index.php unfortunetly…

    In that case, ensure that the <– more –> tag is used after the images when editing/creating posts.
