   I'm using a service to post by SMS via XML-RPC, but they only offer support for categories, not tags. I'm looking for a plugin that will convert categories to tags each time a post is submitted, as I would like the posts to be tagged "mobile".

   If you know of one or have any ideas I'd be grateful! Been Googling for ages :).

   Simple Tags Plugin - check it out, maybe it can help you.
   I read that it has an option of converting categories to tags but do not know if it would delete the category association of the post. Good luck.
