[resolved] Categories Sidebar Widget - Remove the title (3 posts)

    WordPress 2.6.3 in use.

Using widgets in the sidebar and configuring same from design->widgets.

I'd like to remove the title from the categories widget.

When I delete the contents of the title text input and update it then displays on the website as "Categories".

If I was doing this in my theme (sidebar.php) I'd just put title_li= with no value and I'd get the result I'm after.

I can't seem to find a way to achieve the same thing using only the design->widgets web interface.

    Any suggestions?

(I'm doing an install for a client who wants to be able to maintain themselves - including control widgets etc - so would prefer to have this functional than revert to controlling in the theme .php files and having this part of the web interface not working - that'll just confuse the client.)

Get Otto's php code widget and code the wp_list_categories in that widget.

    Template_Tags/wp_list_categories
