• When I google my website it returns urls like: http://www.islamofascisme.dk/category/politics/islamism/
    (fictional example)

However, when I click that link I find myself on the frontpage of my website, presenting my most recent posts. You would expect clicking the above url that my blog would show all my entries in the category politics/islamism – right? Then why doesn’t it?

What am I doing wrong? Has it anything to do with my recent updating of my permalink structure?

    I appreciate the help.

  • Did you change recently your permalink settings?
The Google links show “nice” permalinks but on your site the default setting (e.g. /?cat=3) is active…

Hello, thank you for taking your time to answer.

yes, I reverted from “nice” permalinks back to the former category “default”, frankly because it looked better.

But besides that, shouldn’t my blog show all stories under ‘politics’ when i type in http://www.islamofascisme.dk/category/politics ?

That, even though I changed the permalink structure?

Ah I see your point! With the ‘default’ permanlinks, categories are also changed!
So now categories also look like: http://www.islamofascisme.dk/?cat=118

Will google change these when their bots re-scan my website? So the urls returned by google will show up in the same fashion as my websites structured?

    thanks again,
