   Hello.

   My "Categories" links show up like:
   http://domain/blog/?cat=1

   and I've watched over others sites like this:
   http://domain/blog/category/1/

   How can I accomplish that?

   Probably it will be more likely
   http://domain/blog/category/whatever/
   (I mean not number but category name)
   Admin panel > Options > Permalinks. Read it carefully, go the the Codex, read the Using Permalinks section...

   You have to use permalinks. Options-->Permalinks
