• I would like to add categories on each page. At this point I only see categories on the archived pages.

    I am using K2. I searched this site and the internet and could only find a reference to this code:

    <div><h2>Categories</h2>

    <?php list_cats(0, ”, ‘name’, ‘asc’, ”, 1, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0,”,”,”,”,”) ?>
    </div

    But I have no idea where it should go.

    Thanks in advance for helping. I just moved to WordPress from Movable Type and I enjoy working trying to make my blog the way I wanted to look.

    Thanks again

    K2 demands its own little support whirlwind…

    Kafkaesqui,

    Thanks for the link. That solved the problem.

    If this is the right place, I wanted to ask your opinion on this. When I got the theme K2 I didn’t know that it was not supported in WP forums. Since this complicates improving my blog and makes it difficult to find help, I was wondering if it is worth using K2 instead of another theme? What do I gain by using K2 over the default theme?

    Thanks again

    I would not say K2 is not supported here, at least no more or less than any third-party theme would be. But it does sport features that make it more than just another theme, which in turn makes it more difficult to answer questions on and provide solutions for.

    This particular issue was more WordPress than K2, since it dealt with the use of Conditional Tags. But I was certain the question had come up on the K2 forums, and pointing to the answer there was quicker than downloading the theme, looking through the templates, etc. ;)

    What do I gain by using K2 over the default theme?

    Whatever K2 offers that’s not available in the default theme (or others). There is a lot about it that’s worth a look, beyond just the design. Whether you want or need those features on your own weblog is something only you can decide.

    Thanks for the explaination. I am still learning but I think my blog already looks better.
