    I’m using the Simple Fields-plugin:

This plugin lets you add attributes to posts/pages and one of the attributes allow the user to upload files. This uses the standard WordPress media modal window.

When I add categories with this (Enhanced Media Library) extension, they show up as drop-down filters above the thumbnails when I add media to the main section of the page/post, but when I use media modal window on a Simple Fields attribute the filter drop-downs don’t show. I have the ability to categorize files I upload here, just not filter them.

Do you have any idea why this is, and how it can be fixed?

    Hello,

This is a problem of Simple Fields plugin, it doesn’t generate all necessary media toolbars in media uploader popup. If you deactivate EML, you will see that Simple Fields does not show native WordPress dropdown filter either. Please contact its developer.
