hello WordPress community,
I'm currently managing a blog with 95 categories and it's very concept may very much lead us in the 150+ categories.
Is there a maximum number of categories built in WordPress ? Is there a number categories that's wise not to cross ?

No maximum, but navigating to the proper category in Write-Post will always be fun.
Also consider tags rather than Categories.

Note there actually is a maximum number, based on restrictions set by the database schema. But it's one of those really really big computing values, so it's just as good to say 'no, no maximum.' :)

What is the number? Are we talking in the thousands, or in the 5*10^123 type of number?
