   Hi. I am using wordpress 2.7 and when i click any category, it links to an error page instead of going to http://www.teenissues.net/?cat=1 for example.

   This is my website, http://www.teenissues.net please help me, thanks.

   All your links are very messed up. When I click on the category parent, I get this link:
   http://www.teenissues.netcategory/parents

   Have you installed wordpress in your root folder only?

   Also, disable all plugins and also switch to the default permalink structure and have a try again.

   Hi,

   I can not open your site or category URL..

   however please upgrade your wordpress to the latest version and disable all plugins..

   change the theme to default one and check with the category

   right now, wordpress is installed under public_html/teenissues/ and /www/teenissues/...where else should it be?

   If you want to have your blog as http://www.teenissues.net/, you need to install it under public_html only.

   If you want to have your blog as http://www.teenissues.net/teenissues/ , you need to have it under public_html/teenissues/

   No need to have it in www or /www/teenissues/.

   actually my main domain is http://www.snsoutfitters.net.... I bought a domain http://www.teenissues.net and my hosting service put teenissues under sns...so yeah.

   ok, then you have the files in the correct location. You have http://www.teenissues.net/ as an addon domain under your main domain. So files should be under public_html/teenissues

   Just do the following steps:

   1) Now, go to Settings --> General and check if you have the correct URL in WordPress address (URL) and Blog address (URL) field.

   2) Make sure you have .htaccess file under public_html/teenissues and it is writable. Go to Settings --> permalinks and select the default or any other permalinks settings you want. Click on save tab.

   This should probably resolve your issue..
