Hi
I'm new in here and fairly new to wordpress.
I'm using a sligtly modified version of the Kubrik theme on my page http://www.ifavn.net
Today as I was editing categories I accedently deleted two parent categories, but didn't delete the children. But the children have dissapered from the sidebar and from the category management page. They still exist - and my posts are still assigned to them - but I cannot manage them and they are not in the sidebar (but they are linked in the bottom of each post as they should be).
Has anyone experienced this and know what I can do about it?

edit the problem cats are reassign to main

Thanks for you help but...
I'm not sure I understand your post? I can get them reassigned to uncategoriesed, but I can still not get the categories I want up in my sidebar. I cannot delete them as they are not in the manage > categories section, nor can I ad new categories with the same name since they allready exist. I can reassing the posts to the categories but that does not make them appear in the sidebar...
