categories - display parent and child hierarchically? (2 posts)

I have a number of categories and one of them has a number of child categories.

At the moment, all categories, whether they are parent or child, are displayed in one list on my website.

But I would like to be able to indicate that certain categories are child of a parent by having them indented or with some symbol that shows they are children.

    For example:

    home and property
    ideas and philosophy
    my life
    - work
    - leisure
    - projects

I have tried installing a plugin, Breukie's Category Widget, but it hasn't helped or I can't get it to do what I want.

    My website is: http://www.dropoutdiaries.com
My theme is Modernpaper 1.0 by Performancing

    Many thanks for any help!

Check which template tag is displaying your categories in your sidebar.php - and see if it has a "hierarchical" parameter. It is does, turn it on.
