I got real confused reading past forum submissions. Would like to know if there is a plugin or way to configure php so that when I post to a category that it only shows up on that page. In other words can you have a page with show only a category, Trying to get posts to come up on another page instead of just in the categories. I have my home page set up as a static page. don't know anything about php but I'm capable of learning.

Pages, through the use of Page Templates can be made to show posts. The key is coding the Page Template to do so.
So by your statement, "get posts to come up on another page instead of just in the categories", you are saying you don't want to use the native Category archive and Category Templating process, but instead want to show posts in Pages.
Now, when you write a post you can designate the Category, but you don't say, "I want that post put on Page xyz". You have to configure/code the appropriate Page Template to display posts that are in a particular category.
So I'll stop here for now and ask why you feel that the normal Category archiving won't work for you and why you must put a particular Category's post in a Page. For example, is it for navigation reasons?
