Now I get this error after the fix:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/riddle8/public_html/pakhribas/wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/lib/templates/breadcrumbs.php on line 1
Okay now the whole site gets this error though I can see the Menu bars.

Can you revert to the 1.5.6 breadcrumb code?
I deleted that. 🙂 I think I should re-install the theme.
But you know, I lost my site for two days while updating to 3.7 and I reverted back to 3.6.1. I had already deleted all the plugins and themes and surprisingly when I got back the site again and installed MesoColumn, the theme and its settings were all back to the same as how I’d designed.
How does that happen?

The theme settings don’t delete when you delete the theme folder.
Did you track down what was causing 3.7 to break?
If I delete the theme and install it, will the breadcrumbs php file be the one which I edited?

I don’t think so, the breadcrumbs.php file will be the one that originally comes with the version of the theme you install.
Can you provide me the code that I deleted?
Oh, I’ll reinstall the theme then.

Reinstalled it and the same error (First one) persists.
Now, when I even make the change to 1.5.6 breadcrumb according to the author’s suggestion, the site gets the T-Variable error (the second error).

When you get the T-Variable error can you copy all of the breadcrumb code and paste it into a PasteBin page and link us that?
