I am new to the Catch Everest theme, and am having trouble working the image slider that came with the theme. Does somebody know where I can get a tutorial on how to add images and replace the text?

It looks as if it uses featured images for the slider.

    Hope that helps :)

    Thanks @Keith Driscoll
    Hello @darturah
This theme uses Featured Post Slider to highlight the post in your slider. To add Featured Slider, follow these basic steps:

    1. Go to "Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider" in your WordPress Dashboard
    2. To add Posts in the slider, click on Slider Options and simply insert the ID numbers for posts in the boxes, one post ID number in each box
    3. To change the slider effects and timing, go to Slider Effect Options which is just below Slider Options
    4. Click on Save button

See the screenshot on how you can add in the post id: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798329984427/

    Note:
    * When you add the Post IDs, make sure your posts have Featured Images. See the screenshot on how you can add in the Featured Image in your post http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798329948788/
    * If you are unable to find post IDs, please install Catch IDs Plugin to find the Post IDs

Cool! I got it figured out. It was the post ID's that was throwing me off and I wasn't hitting save at the bottom of the featured post slider option. Thank you both for your feedback! Cheers.....
