   Is there a way to get categories to list in a specific order instead of in ABC order? I searched the forum and found nothing and Plugins as well.

   Check the orderby parameter.

   New to WP so that is just a bunch of gibberish to me. I can't make heads or tails of it. Make new file...edit file?

   Is this an edit or something people? I don't see any thing like:

   FIND:

   "the code"

   REPLACE WITH

   "thecode"

   ====================

   I just want to order categories like you do with PAGES...using an ID order number.

   Categories don't have an Order number. Only Pages do.

   Then explain the LINK you posted? It's not even instructions on HOW TO; just a bunch of gibberish. And it talks about a CATEGORY ID.
