Events Manager
[resolved] cascading custom attributes trouble (2 posts)

    Hi,

    Using Events Manager 5.5.2, I want to cascade custom attributes from event to location.
    For example, I defined a custom event attribute #_ATT{www} and a custom location attribute #_LATT{www}.
    When getting event details, I'd like to display 'www' of event and if not defined, 'www' of location instead.
    I use the following syntax #_ATT{www}{#_LATT{www}}.
    The closing } seems to cause a bug. If 'www' event is not defined, its works. If 'www' event is defined, I get an extra tailing }.
    If I use the following syntax #_ATT{www}{#_LATT{www}, it does not work too.

    Could you fix it?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    If there will only ever be #_ATT{www} or #_LATT{www} value, you can just place them normally. Because only one will ever display, there's no need to check the condition:

    #_ATT{www}#_LATT{www}

    If you need a real conditional check, you'll have to create your own conditional tag:

    http://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/creating-conditional-placeholders-for-events/

    That would work in the same way as the predefined conditional tags listed here:
