   When saving captions for images on our installation, those captions show up properly styled in the admin textarea. However, when we save the post and view the post on the frontend the image is wrapped with caption tags like this:

   [caption id="attachment_1431" align="aligncenter" width="388" caption="Image courtesy of..."][/caption]

   What gives?

   Try placing a single space between each captioned image.

   I may not understand what you are recommending. I put a space like this and I get the same results:

   [caption id="attachment_1431" align="aligncenter" width="388" caption="Image courtesy of..."]SPACE<img />SPACE[/caption]

   Please don't bump. It's against the forum guidelines. A link to a page on your site demonstrating the problem might help...

   The problem resulted from the Headspace2 plugin. Something about the Tags page module within the the Headspace2 plug causes the problem.
