winkpHow are captions (added in the WP media library), AND descriptions for that matter, stored/managed apart from the WP library?
My issue currently is: I need to move my media (music, in particular) to a new folder location, via FTP, to be contained in the library of a new site. Whenever I have tried moving these files before all captions are lost. It has taken some time to add all this text to many files and I would like it to be permanently associated with the files. Is this possible?
Where are captions (and descriptions - although I don't know how to display these at this point) stored? Can't this information be retrieved and copied along with the files?
