hi there, my captions haven't been working for months now and I can't seem to understand why. I just upgraded to the latest version of wordpress and even swapped to a new theme all to discover once again that nothing shows up under the picture. Everything looks alright before I preview or update the page. The WYSIWYG editor doesn't seem genuine.

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
