Sorry if this is easily findable... I've looked around for a plugin to do this but don't seem to be able to find one.

Is there a plugin to introduce captcha-style image verification for the registration page? I've noticed a few "junk" users registering for my blog lately and want to put a stop to it before the problem becomes more prevalent.

u02cdh is looking for a captcha for his REGISTRATION page. All the plugins listed at the Codex-linked pg. are designed for comment forms, not registration pgs.

But I'd like to find a plugin that deals w. u02cdh's problem as well.

Yes, deleting dozens of spambot registrations each day on the blogs and forums gets old in a hurry...

Has anyone come across a solution for this?

I think any digits transformation can be decoded by scripts.
I install this captcha (piktcha.com) on my blog.
Excellent result and users have fun.
