   On the download page it says it's compatible with wordpress 2.8.5 at the highest. However a few people said it works with 2.8.6.

   Can I get confirmation if it works with 2.8.6+? If not, when will it be?

   This looks like a great plugin - I specifically want it to restrict authors of blogs to not be able to edit comments.

   Also, on the future plans it says it will work with wpmu. That is what I will be installing it on - any idea of when this functionality may be added?

   So I installed this plugin and it works. However, the specific permission "edit comments" is not available. I want authors (or a role) to be able to publish and edit those posts but NOT edit the comments on their posts.

   I found a plugin to remove that option as an authour: http://www.laboratoriocaffeina.it/development/2007/07/20/restrict-authors-access-to-edit-comments-the-plugin.html

   But it's not the best solution and I still want an author role.

   Is there anything out there that can separate the the capability for editing post and comments (on their post)?

   Perhaps you're looking for 'Moderate comments' capability?
