    I did a lot of research and found material on removing page titles but none that worked for me. A lot of the posted material reference the page.php and to look to remove "thetitle" however my page.php doesn't even have the word. Can some PLEASE help me so that I can remove page titles from the Canyon child theme I created.

    Also - I download the Hide Title plugin and that kind of works but doesn't remove the page title for my main page and I have a form built in a page and it shows the header for a second then removes it??

    Thanks!!

    Rob

    Can you post a link to your site?

    Hi - the site is http://brewcityauctionpawn.com/

    If you click on online quote you will see that the page title shows up for a second then disappears. The other issue is that I can't remove the Brew City Auction & Pawn page title when I click on the Brew City Auction & Pawn tab.

    My preference would be not use a plugin and just put some code in my child theme so it hides the page titles.

    Thanks!!

    See if adding this to your child theme CSS will do it (without the plug-in):

    .entry-title {
       display: none;
    }

    WPyogi - I deactivated the plug-in and added the code to the style.css and it did not work. Hmm?

    I don't see that code in your child theme style.css file. Be sure you are making the changes there, saving it and clearing any caches.

    I am new maybe I didn't copy it correctly. I also cleared my cache. See below.

    @import url("../canyon/style.css");

    /*
    body {
    background: #333;
    */
    }

    .entry-title {
    display: none;
    }

    Ah, the problem is that the closing bracket for the body background is outside the comment close -- so that creates a parse error -- and in CSS that makes any subsequent code invisible.

    So this should be changed to:

    background: #333;
    }
    */

    That was not a smart move on my part. It works now. Thanks a ton!!!
