I registered here on the support forums yesterday, and was therefore given a impossible to remember generated password.
I want to change it to something I can remember, but I cant. When I click the "View your profile" link at the top, I just get the error 'User not found.' (on a green bbPress page).
Any other way I can change my password?
here is what happened.
late last week I got a ton of attempted spam on my own blog from some profiles on wordpress.com.. I passed it on to a secret someone who's on the wordpress.com payroll, who in turn passed it on to someone else.
I was told, that when they started looking, it was much more than even I had seen.. someone had REALLY spammed the crap out of wordpress.com.
I also, for what its worth, some the same type of spam coming from several other bbpress installs, that I didnt contact.
At any rate, theyre fighting off the spam, and the spammers.
So you can blame or credit me. :P Assuming, of course, I was the first one to bring it to their attention. I dont know either way.

Aha!! I knew it had something to do with Whoo! Blame! Blame! Her fault! Hers!!
