• I have a new blog template that I purchased from Template Monster. I have created an “About” Page, but it’s not showing up on the sidebar. In fact, no “pages” are showing up. I see all of my posts, and all my blogrolls.

When I switch the theme to one of the default themes, I see the “Pages” category. How do I update my theme (or whatever) to link to pages from the sidebar?

    check it out at http://www.paulnlong.com

  • If the theme is ‘widgetized’, (pre WP 2.2 only: and you have the Sidebar Widgets Plugin installed) you’ll find a ‘sidebar widgets’ tab in your administration area under ‘presentation’. This is where you can add items (widgets) to your sidebar.

Else you’ll need to edit your sidebar.php manually and add the appropriate template tags. Check out the default’s theme sidebar.php for a code example.
