Can't Use Themes May Need Reinstall

    I really want to change my theme or at least edit the theme I have (Twenty Eleven) but the live preview is not working. It shows up blank (no matter which theme I am trying to preview or customize) and if I try to upload a new header image, it shows up blank. I’m having a few other problems as well.
    Basically I think I may need to reinstall but I’m worried about losing everything (my pages, posts, media library, ect…)
    So what I need to know is: Will I lose everything or is it protected somehow?
    or is there another way to solve this problem?

    I do not know the exact process, but do a search for “wordpress manual update” and you should be able to find out how to re-install everything *except* your wp-content folder you do *not* want to alter.
